Rihanna to open her first Fenty Beauty Shop in Kenya!

The Entrepreneur, Singer and Mommy-to-be, Rihanna who, according to The Forbes Billionaire List is estimated to be worth $1.7 Billion, is set to open her first shop for her Fenty Beauty products in Kenya.

The 'Work' song hit maker turned businesswoman took to her social media announcing that her brands Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin will be available in a couple of African countries like Kenya, Botswana, Ghana, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe among others, as of May 27th 2022.

The Popstar-Billionaire seems to have been attracted by the African culture and its high demand for skincare products and therefore, decided that it was time the African market tried her beauty products. 

Rihanna has a massive following on various social media platforms with Instagram having a whooping 128 Million followers not forgetting about her massive following on YouTube, Twitter and Meta too. 

Her news seem to have spread faster as some Kenyans started expressing their love for Fenty Beauty products claiming that they had been waiting for such a moment when Rihanna would officially announce her market operations into Kenya.

The Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin Cosmetics products are backed by French Luxury goods Group, LVMH of which the Singer-Billionaire owns a more than 50 percent stake in the beauty company. 

Rihanna seems to have been waiting for such a moment like this, the one time an opportunity would show up so that she could expand her beauty business operations in Africa.

 "I have been waiting for this moment. Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin  are finally dropping in Africa," said the Global Popstar and "Umbrella" song hit maker on her twitter handle.

The beauty and skincare industry market in the African continent is projected to grow by approximately $1.26 Billion between 2021 and 2025 as Data monitor Statistics reports.

According to this data, the total global sales in 2011 stood at $170 Billion with the biggest revenue margins realised from skincare products accounting between 27 to 31 percent of the total global sales.

The "This is what you came for" singer, ranks second behind the American media mogul, Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer due to her own-made fortunes in beauty and skincare industry, according to Forbes.

Forbes also reports that the beauty and skincare industry generated more than $550 Million worth of revenue in 2020. 

The 36 year-old mommy-to-be, also owns a 30 percent stake in Savage X Fenty Lingerie Line which in 2021 generated a $1 Billion money valuation.
