Atwoli - Haha! Mudavadi and Wetangula can't secure 70% of western votes.

The votes from the western counties, Kakamega, Bungoma, Vihiga, Busia, and Trans Nzoia, are to be driven according to the negotiated agreement by the Kenya Kwanza alliance principles.

The Kenya Kwanza Alliance's requests for ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula in its bid for the August 9 election have been mocked by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli.

Mudavadi and Wetangula have been assigned by the coalition to make sure it wins at least 70% of the Western votes.

Atwoli however, on his Twitter account, claimed  that the conditions set for the two leaders are not easy to meet, and that they will struggle to get even ten percent.

"More than 80% of Western Kenya voters are in Azimio. It's only in pata potea where you can be asked to come with 70% so as to be given 30%. But even if they were asked to bring 10% from Western Kenya, they wouldn't manage. Kenyans must be weary of the tricks within UDA," Atwoli twitted.
